We had a lovely short run this morning, I decided i wanted to speed up a bit so ran 1k in 7.55 min which is faster than ever before, don’t try speeding up during c25k though as you risk injury, we have been running over a year now and have speeded up a bit naturally but decided to push it a bit and am chuffed, we only covered 2.69 k though so no virtual parkrun
This evening i went on a river walk with daughter and dog and we found a lovely place that may give us a 3k run so going tomorrow to walk it with Willow it’s very pretty so will take phone for photos
Still having issues syncing to strava though, i have signed in agreed all the permissions and things but still no go, it will happen one day i’m sure.
Happy running everyone

Good post from you, of course you don't need to run all the way to take part in Saturday morning's virtual parkruns, like the official runs you can walk, jog whatsoever.
Yesterday I ran my 13th and saved my run, however, about 20 minutes after I got home I checked on my stats with Mapmyrun, nothing there, I thought the run had not been saved, but two minutes later they appeared, thank goodness for that.
Thanks, we were very strict at the beginning of lockdown because she works in the hospital and i work in a home for vulnerable people and would hate it if we caught it from each other and it swept through our place of work but she and her family had it a few weeks ago so we feel safe now and are mindful of social distancing
How lovely. Sounds like a peaceful time with some bits of speeding up. I love my simple 20 minutes as much as longer runs. Look forward to photos of your new walk/run
