I can’t express how pleased I am with myself, with w3 r3 done this morning.
Our bodies really are incredible, - at the end of w2 I knew I could run for longer. After w3r1 I thought there’s no way I will feel that same confidence at the end of w3. But here we are a few days later & I do feel like I could’ve run for longer. I may look pretty ridiculous being quite overweight and running v slowly, but I’m getting out there and trying to change & improve my health. (I’ve lost 2lbs so far - slow and steady 😅)
I’ve sneaked a peak at w4. Looks like a bit of a step up , but I am determined to continue at this and make a success of it, get fitter and, combined with working on my diet, get slimmer too.
This forum is so supportive, I take a lot of encouragement from reading everyone’s posts!
Good luck all x

Well done for completing week 3! I remember week 4 feeling like a big jump with the 5 minute runs but trust the programme - you can definitely do it!
You don’t look ridiculous. I’ve said it on many other of my posts, I’m very overweight and one of my biggest mental barriers was worrying about how I looked and going too slow but I found that every run I completed boosted my confidence and self esteem and this journey has been as mentally transformative as it has physically. I’m on week 9 now with two runs left to go.
Well done on the weight loss too and good luck for week 4 😊
You’re a week ahead of me and I’m so encouraged when I read posts like yours. I’m also overweight and so unfit but like you have taken the decision to do something about it. I’m going to follow you, if that’s okay, and cheer you on whilst encouraging myself. 👏🏻😊
