Hi everyone, this might sound a bit silly, but I’m doing w8r3 tomorrow (cannot believe I have come this far) & I wanted to know how you all know what distance you have run. I have a garmin type Fitbit but it doesn’t tell me distance, neither does my phone it only counts steps.
I am so pleased to have come this far but I would like to know what distance I’m covering. Any help would be appreciated

I use map my walk, as I have had it for a while, but only started putting it on in wk 7.
Interesting to see the split times for each km, I am doing 3.8km in week 8. 3.5km in week 7. its funny how that refocuses on running fror 30 mins to keep building until I get to 5km.
What is also good is when you feel you have "good" run it is not always the case in terms of speed/distance.
*by good run, I mean there were small parts of it which didn't feel like I was being tortured!
The above apps are great... there’s many more to choose from too. It’s kinda nice to know the distance... but it’s all about the minutes, so don’t focus on the other numbers. These runs are great to log though... after a few more months of running you should see a change in your comfortable conversational pace with no extra effort.
Thank you , I’m very slow , as I run I keep telling myself the story of the hare & the tortoise & slow wins the race 😀as long as we complete it , we win.
Yes!!! For me just running for 28 mins is amazing and anything else we can build on .. each day I surprise myself more.. treated myself to new trainers and finding myself excited to receive them.. not sure I recognise this person ha ha ha 🏃🏼♀️
