I'd be very, very cautious about using any sort of stat measuring whilst doing C25K. Afterwards, yes, it can be a motivator, but we see over and over and over that people get disheartened by irrelevances.
I love using my fitness monitor, it's a cheapo version of a Fitbit (something unpronounceable), and I have used it all through the programme. I love seeing a map of my route and all the data - but haven't started working on speed yet, I'm still slow and steady!
Havent had any app till today when my daughter came to run with me and she had her fitbit found I had run 2.85k in 25 mins even at my snail pace.Am amazed and am spurred on to get it to an easy 3k with the added 2 mins in W8 R1 on tuesday . onwards we go
