Well I’ve done it. Last run with Laura this morning, many thanks to her for her company over the last 9 weeks, her encouragement has been much appreciated.
I did try out the Japanese slow jogging technique today and I was perhaps 3 minutes slower over the 5k distance. Landing on my forefoot instead of my heel was very comfortable for quite a while but my legs got tired I suppose I was using different muscles. I will persevere with it though because having read the book it makes a lot of sense at my age ! It made the uphill stretches a bit easier but was harder on the downhills !
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K, well done 😀 🏃🏾 🎓
