Week 5 session 3 and looking for recommendations for trainers

Hey I completed my 2nd week 5 3rd run but the trainers I wear are really hurting my feet, does anyone have any recommendations for good womens running shoes with support and not too expensive? I’m going to have a longer break now as my foot is so sore!

Look at on running. These great shoes so like and many styles and colours.

I have 3 pairs one for running and the others for comfy shoes to wear.

Thanks but £135 is way too expensive for me!

Try sportsshoes.com I got a pair in their sale for £40. Probably several seasons out of date but who cares. I seem to run faster in them too!!

I wear ASICS Gel-Pulse 11. But you can find quite a few different brands on discount at the moment. Sports Direct has 20% on their website. Adidas has cheaper trainers for under £60.00. What about having a look at JD Sport. When buy you new trainers remember to go up by half or a whole size, unless the brand tells you they come up large. Just look out for discount codes.

You can’t really ask others for recommendations as running shoes are different for everyone depending on your gait. First of all you need to know if you over pronate or not. If not you need neutral, if you do you need support shoes. Ideally you need fitting but if not you can do foot print tests. Google those. Definitely size up though.

There are LOTS of very good brands out there and over 100,000 users of this site... that means you'll get conflicting and confusing advice from people potentially.

Your best bet is to try lots of pairs on at somewhere like Decathlon, SportsDirect, John Lewis - identify a pair that you find the most comfortable (always go for at least half a size bigger than your normal shoe ans dont be afraid to have LOTS of room around your toes) and the find the best price online at likes of Amazon, StartFitness.co.uk, SportsShoes.com .

You should not need to spend more than £60 in my opinion.

Not what you're looking for?
