Hi everyone I need to buy some decent headphones need my tunes whilst running. I’ve used the ones that get supplied with your phone up to now and feel it’s time for an upgrade. Looking to spend no more than £100. TIA

I bought some Aftershokz. They are bone conducting ones that don’t go in your ear. I love them and under £100 too. Be sure and measure yourself as there are two sizes, go onto their website for more info. As I wear glasses I find they work well together.

I found the ones that came with the phone were "rubbish" (the phone itself is NOT rubbish, in fact excellent), the headphones which I bought at Asda years ago before I had a phone and I used for my old Waltman CD player -

remember these-work excellent on my new Smartphone. 😊

I bought a pair of Soundcore spirit X wireless headphones by Anker. They were about £30 of Amazon. Sound quality is excellent and they have lasted through the winter without issues. They fit really well and don’t come loose while I run. Battery life must be close to the 12 hours claimed, I normally stick them on charge every couple of weeks, although I have never run them flat.

I keep going back to my Sony Bluetooth headphones (they also keep my ears warm!) Must be my ears but others seem to fall out and I’m sure I’d lose earbuds. Thought I’d found some that hook over ear but not nearly loud enough for me. Might try the bone conducting ones , my SIL happily uses them.

Let us know how you get on.

I just use the ear phones which come with apple iphones. I find they fit my ear well and don’t pop out whilst I run.

I've got Aftershokz. I absolutely love them after the others I tried! I like that there are no wires. The sound quality is fab and because they're bone conducting your ears still are still free to hear traffic, people, dogs and keep you safe which I think is the best thing of all for running! I like not having things in my ears as well as I find them irritating to my skin.

I have the wireless in ear skull candy's, I think they were £30 but in ear doesn't work with my ears although they are great earphones. I was lucky enough to get an expensive over the ears pair for my birthday and they're the best things I've ever owned, especially if you are someone who has ears that push out the in ear style ones

I tried the ones that sit inside the ear and found that when the sweat funs down the head the buds work themselves out. I managed to get a second hand set of beats head phones for a fiver on a selling app these sit one the ear. I have an excellent noise cancelling set of over the ear head phone off the site that has a river as its name, these too work really well for our goal of C25K

If you only want them for running, i bought a cheap pair of Bluetooth ones off Amazon, think they are called TaoTronics, cost about £17, i have been using them over two years, with no problems at all.

I might be wrong here, but you don’t have the same needs like everybody else. The range of headphones is huge, from £10 or so to a few grands. I would not be able to advise you, unless you let me know your needs. I understand the problem (choosing one out of several thousands options isn’t easy), if I were you I would have split them half. Wireless or not, well known brand or not etc, narrow your choices as much as possible. Then go for the cheapest that fits your criteria. Not happy, at least you know where to start looking next time. Happy, you have got yourself a bargain.

Airshokz Titanium bone conducting. Much safer and more comfortable than in ear buds. Pricey, but well worth it.

Another vote for Soundcore wireless headphones. The charge lasts ages and they stay put while I'm running. Sound quality is great too.

Hi I’ve got Scull-candy over ear and I find the very good. 25 pounds.
