As I’m hoping to keep up with my C25k I would like to invest in a decent pair of trainers πŸ‘Ÿ

Any advise or recommendations appreciated please πŸ‘

There are so many on the market and some are really pricey β˜ΊοΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ .....

We are all different.. so any recommendation would probably not be sensible.. gait analysis is often advised too :)

So many bargains out there too... old stock or unpopular colours :)

Go to a proper running shop, they usually do free gait analysis and then from that get you to try on various styles to suit and run round the shop in them to make sure they fit and feel comfortable.

Have you registered for ParkRun yet? If so, take your barcode with you as some shops give ParkRun members a 10% discount too. Up and Running did for me.

Happy shopping

It is best to try them on. I got some Karrimor Tempo from sportsDirect, half a size bigger than my normal shoes to allow for foot swell. You need to try them on as you might even need a full size bigger. It depends on the shoe.

A running shop is best if you can get to one as you get full gait analysis there so should end up with the right shoe for you. Don't worry about asking for sale items or older models, which will be cheaper.

Lidl has running shoes if there is a sale coming up. There's not much point forking out a lot of money if you don't know if you will stick to running
