Completed ok i have started recording just the run sections using Strava on my apple watch. Despite the first 30 seconds getting it to register my tap it recorded That I ran 4.46k in 27:25 which I am pretty pleased with.

Hi

Yes knee is holding up currently

I have been sticking to the running every other day as far as possible.

Good luck in the morning how are you getting on with it all?

I've usually been doing a mon, wed, Fri run but this week I did a Tues, Thurs, Sat run...

Yeah I'm getting on OK, still can't believe I can run for 25 minutes without stopping, although the speed at the end could be questioned as to weather its running or not lol.

Week 8 started today 😁 cant believe I'm saying I now "run" for 28 minutes without stopping! I do have to fight with myself at points to keep going but so I've not given up and stopped.

Its amazing isn’t it? When I look back and I remember week one and thinking I’ll never do this Here we are running for 28 minutes I am 4 runs from completing and you are 5!

Congratulations on getting through the next barrier!

On my first 28minute run i had to stop to allow a lorry pass at a junction. I was about 2 minutes from the end of the run. My legs were like jelly as I stopped the lorry passed and I started running again an I actually found it easier to keep moving than to stop.

So now when I’m finding it tough My mantra is it’s easier to keep moving than to stop. πŸ˜‚

Completey agree!! I know if I was to stop I wouldn't start again and it would be game over.

I remember running my 1st 90 seconds, it was up hill (looking at it now its more of a small incline lol) and when I got to the top I wanted to be sick, I couldn't imagine being able to run 28 minutes at all!

Not what you're looking for?
