Thanks i hope so to but not going to push it too much as i dont want to go back on the couch, spent the rest of day stuck at computer and legs bent under my desk till 11 last night, knees and legs really sore by time i went to bed and when i woke up this morning just hoping it was more down to the desk than the exercise x

Try some yoga to stretch your legs out ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿ˜Š

Yes going to look at that today ๐Ÿ˜Š any recommendations on yoga apps or utube? For beginners x

Yoga with Adriene is the best recommendation I can give. Really mindful yoga with good guidance and levels/alternative suggestions dependening on ability. Adriene is as close as I can get to my own wonderful yoga teacher whose classes I've been to for years. I found out about her when I joined the Strength and Flex forum last year. She produces a yoga calendar for each month and I follow it as it is free and I like the variety. The link to her June Yoga Calendar is below. You click on the day and it will take you to the YouTube video for that session. Hope you like it. I'm on a mission to follow the plan every day for this month.

Glad youโ€™re getting better and that you enjoyed the bike ride..

I went to bed last night positive I was getting my bike out today but yet again I havenโ€™t.. just felt really lazy after the busy weekend.. managed a bit of gardening but apart from that Iโ€™ve just sat in the sun reading a book.. so I feel a bit guilty now Iโ€™ve read your post.. never mind, thereโ€™s always tomorrow.. and the day after..

Sounds like you should be back to the running soon..๐Ÿ˜Š

Dont feel guilty for having a rest day or two maybe its what you needed ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒžand like u said there is always another day ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Youโ€™re right.. it probably was what I needed.. I did a thirty minute consolidation run this morning and found it difficult again from start to finish.. music app failed after the first song and I only managed just over 3k.. and stump a bit sore again... so I probably needed two days off running.. โ˜น๏ธ

On the plus side, Andy did 4.5k in 36 minutes so he is benefitting.. and the dog loves running back and forth between us! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thats still good, give yourself credit where it is due ๐Ÿ˜Š ur doing really well and sounds like you have more of a challange than a lot of people ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ‘

Your dogs sound fun x

Thanks Shar.. Andyโ€™s my husband though... we have just the one dog.. her name is Scout.. sheโ€™s a Bedlington terrier/whippet cross so she loves running, especially after a ball, and she likes water, (especially if itโ€™s muddy ๐Ÿ™„) .. and she also loves sleeping so very adaptable.. and yes, lots of fun..๐Ÿ˜Š

Haha i read that wrong, thought u said dogs ๐Ÿคฃ yes i got andy was your husband lol. Bedlington terrier arent they them ones that look like sheered lambs x

Well if you put the search term โ€œsheepโ€ into my iPhone photos folder it brings up a lot of photos of Scout.. so the search engine obviously thinks so..๐Ÿ˜‚

Iโ€™ll put a photo of her on my next post.. canโ€™t work out how to include one here..x

I'm with you, on the injury couch, but I think I might try for a run tomorrow - looks like it'll be cooler. I use my bike to stop myself turning into too much of a lazybones - it's a different set of muscles, for sure - but it does help to keep your aerobic fitness up, which is great. Hope you are back in the trainers soon.

Me too cant wait, thinking about treating myself and going to get gait tested and some really good trainers to help prevent any more injurys. Hope your well and your run goes well today ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŒž
