Although I managed W5R3 (somehow) I'm not entirely happy about doing W6R3 as my next run - 10 minutes seemed a long time today and it would be 25 next time. I'm tempted to do W6R2 again just to psych myself; I know there's nothing stopping me but is this generally advisable or should I carry on? I don't feel tired afterwards, just during...

Progressing to W6R3

As they always say, just trust the programme! You can do it! 😊

You should absolutely be ready for run 3, but if you would feel more confident running run 2 again first, then do that! Do it because you want to and you feel ready, not because you think you should. I started c25k because I wanted to learn to run, and I wanted to enjoy it, not as an endurance challenge to be got through. So do what you know feels right for you. Have a great run whichever one you decide to do

Just do it. Either you'll complete it (most likely outcome) or you won't (less likely but you won't be the only one) and no-one's life depends on you completing it first time*. Either way you will learn lots of useful stuff from the attempt (including that some runs some days just feel harder)
*No one will die either if you repeat an earlier run instead and postpone this one, it's all getting out there, but the programme essentially *is* psyching yourself up. And whilst you are still thinking about 10 minutes feeling tough, maybe that's exactly the time to be more certain of pacing yourself nice and slow.

Relax, take it slow and steady, trust the plan and KNOW you will do it!

I felt the same as found runs 1 and 2 of week 6 a bit hard but I decided to go for it and did run 3 yesterday and was my favourite run so far. I started off at a slow steady pace and it was fine, after all the worry lol I think running without the walk breaks you get into a different mindset at the start and are somehow prepared. I would go for it, go slow and you might even surprise yourself and enjoy it 😊 good luck

I must admit after struggling with week 7 I have restarted again commencing week 2. I think weeks 6 and 7 really jump up quickly
I'm at the same place. I have calf pain so rested for 2 days. Working tomoz will attempt on tuesday. Do what you feel comfortable with but you may surprise yourself I'd you go ahead x

In the end I went for it and did it - I decided that being as the next 3 runs will be exactly the same I may as well start. It was hard but not impossible...
