Only done 4/1 tonight. It’s ok. I’ve eaten like a pig since I got in - not sure if that’s related. 16 mins of actual running. Music helps - something banging!

I use spotify... or audiobooks... I need my mind distracted as I run.

Week 4 is a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. As long as you've got some good tunes, are hydrated and done some warm ups beforehand you'll easily fly through it! The struggle is more mental now than physically I found anyway

Did my W4 R1 yesterday afternoon, was sweating like a pig! But managed it ok. I’m a convert to listening to tunes now.

Did W4R1 this weekend and it was a lot better than I ever imaginged it would be, I was grinning when I finished it. I went into it a bit more prepared, I found a bpm jogging playlist on spotify to help pace myself better and it really did work. I went with 120bpm which is a steady jogging pace.

After wk 3/3 I was so tired, I repeated week 3 run once more before moving on. I was still feeling tired after 2 days rest but I managed to do week 4 run 1 all right, I surprised myself. Up until then I did no prep but after week 4 run 2 I was starting to feel it in my legs. I found this forum and started to do the dynamic stretches pre run and long stretches post run; it seems to have made a difference as I am now at week 7.

Did first W4. Very stop and start. 5 minutes is a long time. Also very warm out

I did my second run in week 4 yesterday and they were both okay and totally doable whdn not going too fast. During the first 5 minute run when Laura announced 'You have 2 and a half minutes left' I thought, gulp, I am already tired but by tricking myself into just going to the next tree, the next flower bed, the next bench... I managed to get through it. The second block of 5 minuted I slowed right down and it was a lot easier. You can definitely do it if you don't go too fast
