Couldn’t complete the run today. About 10 minutes in I got a pain in the back of my leg (behind my knee) that crept all up my thigh so I had to stop. Now I’m home and seem to have pins and needles in my thigh. Any idea what this could be?? I’ve been drinking loads and try to look after myself on rest days.
Any advice is appreciated
Thanks folks👍

You have pulled something and need to follow the PRICE principles as linked to in the guide to the plan.
Stretching immediately after every run, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow.
Oh ok, that’s helpful. I always warm up before my run but if I’m honest I’m not great after the run. Should I leave it a while before I try again then do you know? What’s your advice please
