The last 5 min run was tough but I did it, didn’t stop and actually enjoyed it! I didn’t realise what people had been talking about regarding the ‘step up’ during week 5 so I had a sneaky look at my next two runs. To think I’ll be running for 20 mins non stop by the end of the week, well let’s not be negative but I was a little shocked! The other weeks have all been the same so I’m slightly concerned but hey, I’ll give it a go. Have many others struggled? I’m hoping it’s just a mental thing and that I will actually be able to do it! 💪🏼😊
W5 R1: The last 5 min run was tough but I did it... - Couch to 5K
W5 R1

Well done.
W5R3 is the shortest workout since W3 as explained here healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

You will do it no bother BL! You're ready for it. It is absolutely great when you get that one under your belt - you will be on cloud 9 for ages!!! Go into it knowing you can do it like so many others before you then let's see a victory post afterwards!
Well done we’re getting there ! I’m planning it for Wednesday Evening or crazily even thinking of maybe early morning before work 🤪😝what is this running thing doing to us ! Good luck with it ☺️🏃♀️🏃♀️

Well done 👍

Oh wow that’s good to know! I’m a little apprehensive but I’m determined to do this so positive feedback is great, thank you! 😊

It's just a mental hurdle... believe in yourself and you'll fly through it! 👍🏻😁
Did W5R2 yesterday. Found it one of the toughest runs yet. Not sure how I’m going to manage 20 mins tomorrow so thinking of re-running W5R2 first. Anyone else got same panicky feeling?

I was the same as 58soon, found W5R2 tough but I did run 3 yesterday and actually found the straight 20mins easier than the stop starting, which surprised me. It’s definitely a mental challenge, I’ve found this week my body has been much more capable than I realised. Good luck, you’ve got this 👍
Reading your profile bio and this post, you should sooo proud ! What an amazing achievement .... well done 👍

Hi. I'm on W4 R2. Finding the 5minute run tough.....but if I have to repeat a week i will.... cant imagine being able to run non stop for 30 minutes....but I'm determined to give it my best shot.

I did this one this morning and felt surprisingly okayish afterwards. Bit daunting looking ahead at the next 2 runs this week but will give it a go!
