I remember doing these about this time last year, luckily enough I didn't put all the weight back on that I lost last time around, thankfully it was even half.
Week 1 is still the hardest week of the program, I ran week 3 about a month ago and didn't feel this wrecked! It could be the stop/start as week 3 has less breaks.
I'll continue onto week 2 on Monday, I love the warm weather but please let it be a little cooler in the mornings, moving this frame around when it's warm does sap energy quickly when it's hot.
Thinking about it, my best 5k times have been when it's like -3!
Yesterday was a total rest day, I was going to go out for a ride but didn't want to be hitting everything too hard and cause myself another injury, so after work I washed Mrs LeeU's car, both of our cars had become very dusty (from the rain), so I broke out the pressure washer, snow foam, etc and set about it.
My Garmin actually picked it up as moderate exercise and logged 45+ minutes of the 2 hours I was at it, so maybe not a total rest day.
It's the turn of the lawns today, I'll probably get around to doing my car over the weekend.
Happy running everyone and sorry for the ramble.
