Week 5 run 1...loved it!

I have been looking forward to this run since the start if week 4 (I know weird right!) Well I got up admittedly not as excited about it as I had been the last two days before it because Id woken up a bit later and by the time id sorted the animals it was getting warm. Anyway I bit the bullet git my gear on ( new go fast leggings also helped obviously I mean who does not enjoy new running leggings?...whats happened to me? )

Then I just did it, I loved it! I liked running for longer with slightly longer recovery. I then walked the dogs after as I always feel like I need to keep moving longer than the 5 minute cool down. Then I did my half an hour post run yoga (this is amazing it has stopped menaching the day after) Excited about run 2..nervous for run 3! How did your week 5 go?

Brilliant! Longer runs let you get into a good rhythm which is why they feel good. W5R3 is the BEST run - for that very reason. Enjoy! Good luck.

I loved run 1 too. 😀 Run 2 was fine, but I did notice energy wise that I’d walked a lot earlier in the day. Then run 3 was a revelation! 😀👍 Really made sure I paced myself from the word go and had great tunes. The first 5 mins I hardly noticed time wise, which surprised me. The next 10 felt longer but I kept really slow, repeated that I could do it in my head and took in my environment on the way round. The last five I knew there was no way I was going to let myself stop, so I started joking with myself about “writing” my victory speech for the end and just enjoying the fact I knew I was going to do it! 😁 You’ll be writing your own one soon! Go out and really enjoy it on the day, you’ve worked for it!! 👍☀️🏃‍♀️
