20 minutes non-stop and in the wind!

I did it! Run 3 week 5. Twenty minutes non-stop. πŸ˜€ And in this wind!

I had the usual 10 minute struggle in the beginning when I had to force myself to put one foot in front of the other but kept on going.

I never would have thought it possible when I started out, but this C25K plan is awesome!

For anyone approaching this run with trepidation - you CAN do it!! The plan has prepared your body for it. Just take it slowly and stay positive and you will make it to the end.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5 in the wind, that run is milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1, hopefully not in the wind but be careful about that run as it has caught out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran πŸƒπŸΎ 😊

Thanks!

I've seen lots on the forum about being caught out by the next run but plan to approach it with my usual plan - slow and steady πŸ™‚

Slow and steady it was but I struggled to find a rhythm and boy that was tough! Maybe because I was expecting it to be?...

I'm realizing this malarkey is all in the mind.

Nonstop 20min is week 6 run 3 right! Or am I confused πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. I know I have W6R3 today and I thought this is the first 20min nonstop for me and I’m procrastinating on this just now .... blamed it on the strong wind all morning but now it seems to have calmed a little - fear seems to be holding me back

Nah! Week 6 run 3 is 25 minutes non-stop.

Either way procrastinate more. I was the same but decided it was "do or die".

I am glad I did it and you will be too. Go for it!
