Just back from my wk3r2 felt great doing the first 3 runs the last 3minute was a bit tough as I hadnβt planned my route well and ended up on a bit of a hill. Kept going through and didnβt stop.
So proud of myself never ever thought Iβd be able to do 3mins of running non stop. Iβm actually looking forward to Run 3 on Friday ππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈ

Iβm at the same stage as you & did my run this morning. Somehow today seemed tougher than wk3r1 but think it was the heat. Overall Iβm enjoying it & bizarrely am quite looking forward to starting some longer runs.
I did W3R1 this morning and Iβm not sure Iβll make it again. I tried keeping the breathing steady and running slowly but I was done in at the end. I canβt see how Iβll be able to do 5 minutes next week.
I completed week 3 this morning & felt it was my best run yet. Without meaning to I must have been running faster as I was beyond my marker points from the previous 2 this week. I was still willing the last 3mins to finish though!
I will have to consciously slow down again for the start of week 4 or I wonβt make it, but it was good to feel a sense of achievement today.
The main thing is you still did it though so well done! I hate walking in the wind, let alone trying to run in it!
Iβm not sure about the next run either, but reading on here people keep saying trust the program & go slowly. Letβs give it a try & see how it goes!
Today was the first time I didnβt make it through the run, week 4 run 1. Lots of reasons why (which could also be called excuses!) but I know I didnβt drink anywhere near enough yesterday.
Iβm not feeling down about it though as I did the first 3min run & then managed the 5mins..... but couldnβt get going again for the next 3min, I stopped about 1min in to that one & walked home. What Iβm taking from today is I ran for 5mins, there is no way I could have done that even this time last week!
Iβll rest tomorrow & then go again on Tuesday, it wonβt beat me!
Hey how you doing??? Did you get out yesterday? How did it go??? Bet you rocked it - is just back from wk4r2 and loved it felt like it was my best yet and that I found my pace. I think I might have been bitten by the bug?? Lol
Hiya, good work with wk4r2, great to hear you are enjoying it & have found your pace π
I went out yesterday & completed it this time, my legs were fighting by the end but I convinced myself to keep going! Now Iβve done it once Iβll be ok for the rest of the week as I know I can do it!
I know what you mean about the bug... there arenβt many things that convince me to get up early but Iβve been doing it for running!
I finished week 4 this morning & am glad to see the back of it! Iβve certainly found a rhythm for me but the second 3min run has been a mental battle getting going again after the walking.... Iβve completed it though!
How are you feeling about week 5? Iβm sort of looking forward to it and think I might need to extend my route a bit further, will set out on Monday with 2 routes in mind and gauge how itβs going.
Hey well done weβve both come so far right πͺπ»
Iβve finished wk4 today too- was supposed to go yesterday but did t feel right and didnβt want to finish feeling down.
I felt really good but same as you Iβm running out of places to keep running on flat or downhill- I change my route every time so I donβt get bored
But today I remembered just as I was about to start the last 5min run that at the end of my down hill was a huge up hill- so I ended up just going round the park twice.
Iβm looking forward to wk5 but nervous too.
I know we can do it look at how far weβve come πͺπ»ππ½ββοΈπͺπ»ππ½ββοΈπͺπ»ππ½ββοΈπͺπ»ππ½ββοΈ
