Is it that you don't want to be able to run for 20 minutes?

Surely not, so why are you not looking forward to it?

You do know that this plan is designed to get you running for thirty minutes.........that is half as long again as the twenty minutes.............adjust your mental approach and embrace the challenge with positivity.

Read this breakdown and see if you feel differently healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

You can do this.......so you had better believe it.

Have no fear, for your body will be ready for it ... it´s just your mind won´t be... hence your question.

Look at Week 4 ... you ran for a total of 16 minutes 3 times! W5R1 is 15 minutes of running, W5R2 is 16 minutes again.

By the time W5R3 comes around, your 14 preceding runs will have seen you for a total of 157 minutes ... more than enough to get your body ready.

Trust the program... you´ll be fine.

Ah don’t think like that because you’re gong to be ready and you’re going to love love love smashing those minutes to bits.

I promise 👏👊

I managed my first 20 minutes non stop last week after repeating week 5 twice. Just give yourself time and go slowly. Oh, and avoid hills! 😆 You will feel so great once you've smashed it.

Thank you guys for your replies... I think I was just feeling a little low this morning. I know I can do it!. I always feel fantastic when I've finished and accomplished every run. I really love the way I'm pushing myself. I'm positive I will be a runner soon. A regular runner.! I've already looked and registered for parkrun when it eventually gets going again. I love the new me!

We all feel like that sometimes I'm sure (I do) . I've managed to get to week 7 and can't believe the progress that can be made on the programme. Like people have been saying embrace the challenge and try not to think about it too much. I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck 👍
