The snail trying to jog week 4 run 1

Well I gave it a go !!! Omg when jo said slow down if your tired I realised if I’d slowed down anymore I’d be stopped. !! 🤣🤣 my pace is only 13mind a km so seriously slow. Wonder now if I’m ever going to be a jogger let alone runner. But at least I’m trying I suppose. I did complete each jog at my snails pace. Now needing a lie down 🤣🤣 thinking I’ll repeat this run again before moving on the number two. It’s such a jump up from week three.

Well done - you did it 🎉🏃🏼‍♀️no matter the speed - I too am really slow but it’s the feeling of achievement - we’re getting there slow and steady as Laura keeps telling me. Congratulations 🥳

Thanks. I agree I did do it no matter what !! It’s quite a sense of achievement really isn’t it. Thank you.

Congratulations!! Well done, you completed the run, that's the whole point. Speed, like age, is just a number 🤣🤣🤣 I'm also slow but I never repeat a run unless I don't manage to complete it (touch wood, it's not happened yet!) I would do the three runs of week 4 (they're all identical) and then decide whether to move on to week 5. Good luck with it! 👣👣

You not only gave it a go, you did it! 😀 You’re pacing yourself correctly and with each run you’re building on your stamina. I would keep going but maybe have an extra rest day if you feel you need it. Having said that, you might just find the second run is absolutely fine and wonder why you doubted yourself! 😀 Good luck! 👍

If you are new to this then it will take some time to see real benefits, but believe me, they will show up and you are improving your heart and lung function with every session.

Well done, keep it up.

Hurrah for you!! You've done it. There's nothing like the feeling you get after finishing a challenging run. A warm glow of happiness. Onwards and upwards!

I find that I'm also crawling along for some of the runs and the odd time out of the blue I get extra energy and I could run on at the end. A sure sign that we are stretching our limits all the time and our bodies are changing.

❤❤❤
