Just got in and I'm stoked, started off thinking keep it slow don't push it then 1Km comes up still felling good av pace 6 20 something?? What!! Again try and slow it down as K 2 is the hardest one gulping in the air , bong 2Km av pace 6:12, slow down !!! but every K comes up 6:20 or there about. Got to the end of the 30 minutes and I'm thinking 5 K is just a few hundred metres I got to do this. My first 5K 31:37 average pace 6:17. If you had told me 9 weeks ago I would complete 5K in just over half an hour I would have laughed in your face but I have just done it!!!!!

Nicely done plop .

Make sure you give those legs a really good massage though - that was a lot of work for them :-). I am not sure of your regular pace but if that was significantly different then please don't try and repeat that for run 2 as that is the way of the IC :-). Graduation is only round the corner now and an injury would be awful.

Lovely pace though!

Wow, that's good on your first outing of W9. I am on average 1minute slower than you and as a consequence not getting to 5k but know I will eventually. Well done and keep at it but don't overdo it.😊

Thanks folks for your comments, I will try to slow down on the next one. Perhaps some different music might help.
