So, a few runs post grad and I’m upping my time slowly to get to 5K. Ran for 32 minutes today along the river path (gorgeous route, gorgeous sunshine but blimey that wind was bitter!)
I listened to a podcast for only the second time and I think it’s really helping to keep my pace even. No fast/slow songs to (unconsciously) speed me up or slow me down, and listening to a podcast about running to keep my mind on the job in hand. 🤣🤣 So, furthest distance ran to date, and fastest average time to date has made me one very happy girl!
Happy Monday everyone!🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️

That's really great to hear. Yay the less pressurised runs! Which podcast was it that floated your boat? I'm stocking up on them for the point when I'm doing hour long trail runs. Resisting while I've still got roads to cross because I'll zone too much out and get squished!
Hi, it’s the runners world podcast -human race... listened to episode 6 as recommended by someone on here a few days ago (but be warned, it’s an emotional one) episode 1 today really inspired me (without sounding too corny I hope). Each episode is 40 ish minutes so perfect for me at the moment. 😘😘😘
