Week 2 run 2

That was a challenge. Second 90 second run I was struggling to keep going and my legs felt heavy. I overcame ig though and carried on. I'm not the quickest of runners but I'm out there. 1 and a half laps of the park and the 5 minute warm up and warm down walk is to and from the park.

Well done - those 90 seconds feel a lot longer when you’re running but you did it! A slower, steady pace is much more important than speed - like you I found the early weeks challenging but by keeping it steady and calming my breathing I’m now on week 7. Keep going, you can definitely do it!

Ths first few I am going slow but my last 1 or 2 I try to pick up the pace a little so I give it my all. I was worried people would stare at me as I'm running because of all my wobbly bits but going early means I only see a few people.

Well done.

Heavy legs can be symptomatic of poor hydration. As a runner you need to drink 2.5 -3 litres of fluid each and every day, running or not, as mentioned in the guide.

I think it may also be down to the fact the my 10 month old was up quite a bit last night so I was tired anyway but I will take that in board too. Thanks.
