I just completed run 1 week 4. Running for 5 minutes straight seemed such a step up from last week. I wouldn't say it was easy but when I finished the first 5 minute run I knew I had this one in the bag. Yes!
When at the end Michael told me I am now running for longer than I am walking I did a double take. Really? I might even be started to like this running business.
Well - maybe not entirely. I still struggle more in the first half of a run and don't enjoy the effort of repeatedly putting one foot in front of the other, but I'm starting to get the same buzz as from my (currently impossible) early morning swims.
So if you are doubting whether you can do it - yes you can!!! Take it slow, trust in the plan and just do it!

I've hated running since school (a long time ago now), and only started this as an alternative form of exercise when the swimming pools were closed down, but I might - just a remote possibility - be getting the bug 🙂
