MCL injury

So, my running has come to an abrupt halt for the time being. During the end of W2R3 I felt pain in my knee and had to stop. I followed the RICE instructions but 4 days later and no improvement. Today I saw the GP who was brilliant, he's an ex military doctor so knows his stuff. As I had thought, I have an MCL sprain/tear, which will take 6-8 weeks to heal. I'm gutted.

What a shame, but now you’ve started you know you can come back when you are healed x

Sorry to hear this. DO NOT push it. I severed my ACL and MCL about 8 years ago. It’s not worth it. You will recover. Just take medical and physio advice 😊

Sorry to hear that, take it easy & let it recover. You can come back to this when you & your body are ready. There is no rush
