Just done my first run of W8 and feeling good. I have been a bit naughty as I ran R3 W7 yesterday but I slept well for a change so I thought I would make the most of waking up feeling ok.
I am feeling more than OK now as I pushed myself further just to see if I could and ended up running for 33 mins instead of 28 and I could have carried on.
I know I shouldn’t have done either of these things as this is how injuries happen but I have this urge at the moment, this energy inside me that wants to get to W9 ASAP and graduate. I WANT that little word ‘Graduate’ by my name badly. 🤔 This ‘urge’ seems to be pushing me forward when other weeks I haven’t run for days as couldn’t be bothered.
Is anyone or has anyone else felt like this?

It is not naughty..........you are an adult and can make your own mind up whether you follow the advice on offer.
When you run, the impact creates microtears in your muscles, which repair and strengthen on your rest days, not while running. Without rest, repair and strengthening are compromised and injury risk increased.
If you want to be the best runner that you can be, then do non impact cross training on your rest days, which will be far more beneficial than running every day. It is not recommended for new runners to run on consecutive days until they have a minimum of six months regular running on their legs.
Injury, especially overuse injury, can strike out of the blue and stop you from running for days, weeks or even months..........that could so easily delay getting the little grey smudge next to your name.
Oh I can so understand how you feel but be careful just imagine how you feel if by going too much you injure yourself and have to take time out delaying your graduation 🤦🏻♀️
