W5 R2 - Did it!

I realised after W5 R1 that this was going to be a tricky week!

I cannot believe I have completed this session. After the first 8 min run I actually teared up, and then to do it again - I still feel emotional.

I know what R3 brings, I may do R2 again to help with my stamina - anyone have any thoughts or advice on this?

I was the same, but the program was done for a reason, don't set off too fast, try and keep a good pace and u will soon find times flys it's all in ur head. Ur body and stamina can do it

I think sometimes you have to conquer the mind first - tell yourself you can do it and then try! That said I’ve been known to repeat entire weeks getting ready for the day 1 of the following week! The thing is you’re doing it that’s amazing!

Thank you, when I look back I know how far I have come, but I feel overwhelmed by what lies ahead

I totally understand that! I’m morbidly obese and struggle! I’ve only run outside once and found it incredibly hard and if honest a little soul destroying noticing how slow and hard it was! I use a treadmill in the house and manage that way! What you need to realise is you are doing it - and if you need to walk then walk it’s still more than sitting on your couch x

Well done.

W5R3 is the shortest workout since W3.

This post breaks down W5 and may convince you that you are indeed ready for it......which you are. healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

You can do this.

This 👇🏻 is hugely comforting and reassuring - thank you.

‘’For some people, their jogging pace may actually be slower than they can walk. No problem. If both feet are simultaneously off the ground on each stride, you are running. The pace is irrelevant.’’
