Woo-hoo!! After a very slow start to my c25k journey, I think things have started to come together! It took me over three months to get to the point where I was comfortable with finishing weeks 1, 2, and 3, and then a couple of weeks ago I did the week 4 runs....
They weren't easy, but actually they were ok. I did them again last week. This week, I moved on to week 5... And that's really fast progress for me!
W5 R1 on Tuesday was actually easier than every single one of my week 4 runs - go figure!
W5 R2 last night, and I smashed it! In fact, I felt so good at the end of the second eight minute run I did an extra 2 minutes! What is going on??!!
Feeling so good 😃, until I remembered it's W5 r3 tomorrow 😭

Thank-you Slowloris! I just hope I do it. Got a bit of a habit of jacking things in when I think they're beyond reach, and I really don't want to give this up now!
Just reread your first post... there you are the type to never see things through... but later talking about doing week 1 and 2 for 10 weeks... look at you now... still haven’t quit and now you’re doing the impossible... starting tomorrow right? Yesterday you did 21 minutes of heartbeat raising cardio... tomorrow you do 20. Keep it slow and steady and your legs and lungs won’t notice that you forgot to walk... more than any other run, your next is a mental challenge... I happen to think you got that side down and then some. There is no too slow tomorrow... just bring it home 20 minutes... you can do it.
Relax, go slow, and do what you do. There can be no pressure, you’ve proved that if you don’t complete it you’ll be back, so don’t worry about a thing.
