Week 5 run 3 complete

Over the moon, can’t believe I’ve just been able to do that run. First ten minutes were harder than the second. It just proves it’s a psychological block not physical. I know feel ready to complete any of the challenges ahead, and finally confident that I’m going to complete the whole program 😃

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

There is a very good physiological reason why the first half is harder than the second......known to runners as the Toxic Ten and explained here. healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Enjoy your journey.

You deserve to be over the moon, ha, I wonder if at any time in the future humans will ever run on the moon 🎑 🏃🏾

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊
