Rerun week 7 run 2

Morning all hope everybody is ok. After not completing this run yesterday I thought I would do it again today. I made sure I paced myself and did 25 mins without a problem. Not my quickest run but happy to have another 25 mins under my belt . I go again tomorrow for final run of week 7 feeling confident.

Good luck but please make sure you rest enough. Maybe go on Monday?

Well done, but please take your rest days. They are as crucial as run days for your development.

When you run, the impact creates microtears in your muscles, which repair and strengthen on your rest days, not while running. Without rest, repair and strengthening are compromised and injury risk increased.

If you want to be the best runner that you can be, then do non impact cross training on your rest days, which will be far more beneficial than running every day. It is not recommended for new runners to run on consecutive days until they have a minimum of six months regular running on their legs.

Thank you for the advise. I have taken today as a rest day and ill go again tomorrow.
