I started the programme in the middle of January, having not run since I was at primary school when I was always the slowest runner at school sports day. I hated being so slow and I've never run since. I'm 65 now and I thought I would never want to run but, suddenly one day in January, I thought I've just got to get fit and I found my trainers - which I hadn't put on for 25 years when I used to go to the gym once in a blue moon - and found the Couch to 5K site and went on the first run just to see if I would survive. I've found it really hard, I've had to repeat weeks 2 and 3 lots of times but today I thought I could manage the first run of week 4 and I was astonished to find it was just about OK. If I can do it, being really unfit and having done no exercise for 25 years, I think anyone could do it. But I definitely wouldn't have done it without this programme and seeing the encourging comments on this site. Thank you!

Thats so amazing to hear! It's never too late to take your health back into your own hands. I'm only 23 and even I had to repeat week 4 a few times. Keep up the good work and take your time!
I agree, the posts on here really help. And yours certainly does for me 🏃♀️😁
