Jo Whiley said it should feel easier this week. That 3 minute run is hard, I canβt ever see me running for 25 minutes!! Does anyone else feel like they are running through quicksand.. ππββοΈπ

Well done, you did it.
Are you drinking a minimum of 2.5-3 litres of fluids each and every day, running or not, as recommended in the guide to the plan?
The crucial importance of hydration to the proper functioning of our bodies is often overlooked by new runners.
Strengthening exercises on your rest days will build your muscle tone and improve your fitness, as recommended in the guide to the plan.
Don't think about 25 minutes.........you will do it...........just concentrate on the next run and know that each run prepares you for the next one.
The plan works.
I did my week 3 run 1 yesterday too, was tough but just took my time. Found it easier than the very first run to be honest. We will get there πββοΈπ. I am 51 and not ran since school!!
Hi, I did that run yesterday but took everyoneβs advice and really slowed down, what I found was the first 3mins felt like it would never end but come the 2nd one I think I had sufficiently warmed up and found it easier. I even did another run at the end as I was further away from home that anticipatedππ
My pace was much slower than previous runs but if I can run for longer, admittedly slowly for now, then I can work on my speed at a later date.
You can do this!
Go for itππ
Depends on how fast you're going! How is your breathing at the end of the last running segment? You should NEVER be out of breath - if you are, you're going too fast. Honestly, you CAN do it - you just need to find the right (slow!) pace ...
