Morning all. After a week off on my hols and dubious amounts of alcohol on Saturday, I did w3r1 again. Boy, I found it hard! One of my favourite running shoes has gone AWOL after the holiday so had to wear different ones. Maybe this could have been part of it. I found the 90 second runs harder than the 3 minutes ones! How is that possible?? Still, pleased I went and didnβt give up - my MO is giving up exercise after about 2 weeks (if Iβm lucky) but keeping it slow and support on this group has led me to my longest run. Whoop whoop for the runners! π
W3r1 (again). How can 90 seconds running be ha... - Couch to 5K

Woohoo well done! W3R1 for me tomorrow!
Well done, we found the 90 second parts of the 3 minute runs strange but did up our snail pace a little so that might have been it
Thanks Sola56, I know there is method to the apparent madness so will dutifully keep doing what sarah tells me lol π
Yes, believing in the plan really is the key. Those weird intervals are busy building stamina and fitness. Keep following directions & all will be well in the end. ππππΌ
I just did this run this morning and I found the 90 sec ones harder too!!! And according to map my run my pace wasn't massively different either!!
This is my second time on C25K after breaking a toe two runs from the end last year and having terrible plantar fasciitis. I think I might be looking forward to getting back too some longer runs!! Eeeeek!
I'm at the same step as you as you know but I loved the 90 second runs this morning as they weren't 3 mins!! π€£
Hoping run 2 on Friday morning won't hurt so much - we've got this!! πͺπͺπͺ
