Whew! Running is hard

Or at least it was today. Very cold, slow, uphill. We're visiting family, so the route was unfamiliar. And slept on an air mattress so my back was killing me! Running helps. Run run run no excuses! 4K today in 35 minutes.

My sister in law said she could see the effects. Nice, because I can't! After 7 months of regular 3x week running, I think I look just the same, and my measurements are the same. It's nice to think all the effort might be visible!!!

Running IS hard and easy, fun and painful, joyous and agony. Not sure why we do it really :)

Sorry, struck too fast! I wanted to ask you if you'd got any sunlight yet... Mind you living in the north of France, the whole week has been grey and stormy, just got a hint of blue sky today when the sun set!

Well done for your determination and don't you worry about your measurements, you've got the running glow, I'm sure ;-)

Well done you are really doing a great job. It's difficult to see changes in ourselves because they are soooooo gradual but they are happening - trust your sister in law if you can't see it yet. Suddenly you will notice. Just think about what's going on inside, all those muscles getting stronger, lungs becoming fitter and all that wonderful stuff :)
