so I've just finished run 2 from week two. Really struggled to start but finished on a massive high.
Legs not so much.
Did anyone else feel the leg fatigue alot?
Any tips

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Heavy legs can be symptomatic of poor hydration. As a runner you need to drink 2.5 -3 litres of fluid each and every day, running or not, as mentioned in the guide.
Enjoy your journey.
Hi Spartacus22
I am in week 3, I have my 3rd run tomorrow
My legs were feeling ok until my last run when afterwards my legs went to jelly. Hopefully it's all part of getting fitter, I hope.
Keep up the good work, your doing great.
Thanks bluebloods1 well done on your progression .
How have you found week 3?
Thats my next week.
I think some long legs stretches are my weekend homework.
Well done!! I'm one run ahead of you. I've not had problems with my legs so far (touch wood!) but I have upped my water intake since restarting the programme and I also run veeery slowly so that might be why my legs aren't that bothered 🤣🤣
thanks beatlesforever. How are you enjoying it so far? I guess unless your finished and aiming for a race time pace isn't important im just happy to complete the distance right now.
I'm trying to increase my water intake but have a bladder the size of a pea. Haha always been a problem.
Might try some ice baths🥶
