Slow down and slow down again. Breathing sorts itself or once you get through the 5-8 minutes runs👍🏽

I found this when I started it. Everyone said to slow down, but what made it click for me how I couls slow down and still run was when Laura on the podcast said make sure you are running in a way that someone on the other side of a fence can't see you bobbing up and down. It's made a huge difference. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum and well done on your intention.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on pacing, minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

As well as running even slower I found the best tip was to speed up the warm up walked, worked like magic for me x
