So I did it yesterday. W5 R3. I was daunted when I saw the "agenda" pop up but I tried and I did it. On the 2 minutes left message I even ran faster. My legs felt like lead afterwards but the sense of achievement was immense. This would have been impossible 30 days ago.
I feel really proud of myself. If this 3 stone overweight 45 year old unfit bloke can then it's within reach for everyone.
I tried just doing a short sprint the other day...man my legs can move now. Nearly fell over
My garden grass is suffering though.....round and round and round

I had to msg all sorts of people, who don't really give a fig, but I was so chuffed. I've never stuck at anything like this so it's a big thing for me.
I just did my W5R3 two days ago and I feel like my legs are about to fall off today! You may want to get some hot showers over the next day or two.
I’m 70 pounds overweight and sometimes I just can’t believe I can do this running thing either! I hope we’re not punishing our calves too much.
Anyway, feel proud! I was a little scared going into that run...it really seemed like some sort of impossible task. (But it worked out fine and I had a lot of fun.) you did it!
I’m with you on the sorted issue... I’m definitely noticing increase in speed at this juncture. I guess a few months of building mitochondria is paying off.
Cheers mate. I was 30 odd pounds overweight. Lost 6 now. My legs feel pretty good today. It's raining so not done any walking outside. I walk 2-6 miles on the off days. Often I put on those velcro-weights which roughly matches the weight I've lost, whilst walking.
I've also been doing a belly fat exercise routine app on top.
Ive just done wk5 run 2. big one for me on Thursday. does seem a big jump from 2 x 8min to 1 x 20 mins.... your progress has been really good. hope you get to week 9.
