Should I count this as done, as to stop running on the second 8 minute run at half way. Walked for about 30 seconds and than started running about. Error was going to fast for the first 8 minute running over confident. Recovered well breathe back to normal after minute & half. Distance for second 8 minutes a little bit much. Rest day tomorrow, see what R3 is like. May have repeat W5 again, will see. My run ever. Very ugly.

Well done.
The decision is yours, but it is a training plan to develop your body, not a tick box exercise, so if you want to be sure that you are ready for the next one, maybe a repeat is a good idea.
You have learned from that run, so take the knowledge with you and crack it fully next time.

You don't need to repeat run 1 of week 5 but I think you should have an extra day of running and repeat run 2 of week 5 before going onto "the big one" run 3 of week 5, by repeating run 2 it will give you more confidence to run, run 3.
Whatever you choose works... see if you can handle it before moving on.
Good luck! You've learned for next time...

Yeah, I agree. Learning is the important thing and listening to your body. If you feel it will boost your confidence - repeat. This is your journey after all. I am doing W5 R2 today and am determined to go slow!!!!
