I’ve just completed wk 5 run 3 today. However some of it is running up a slight hill. I’m not saying I found it easy but I kept going. Do most of you stick to a flat run or do a bit of incline too? Also have you all stuck to the same route, I have.
Thanks Bev

Congrats, it's such a milestone. I bet you're buzzing. Remember when you do week 6 run 1 to keep slow, people have a tendency to go a bit fast and then knock their confidence.
Yes I keep the same route, there is a jogging track (with 100m markers) round my local park which is completely flat and luckily not too busy during lockdown. I want to mix it up after I finish the course, but I feel very safe in there and worry about heading out into the wild world
Congratulations - that's my next run, so it's really good to hear about people having completed it. My route is flat and I tend to stick to the same route all the time, with only minor variations (sometimes I run round the park in the opposite direction). There is somewhere fairly close by that has a hilly bit, but I'd either have to cycle there or get a bus, and that doesn't seem worth it at the moment - it's where the park run happens, so maybe once we're allowed out again, I'll give the hills a go. It is supposed to be good for you (but I find it a bit daunting).
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K.
It depends on where you live regarding hills or flat routes, if you live in the Netherlands all your runs will be run on flat routes, in other countries there will be some hills, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊
I’ve at same stage as you! Well done us!!! Tough long run there. There are hills on all my routes ( I have three and rotate them) and I find it really tough especially if there’s a wind. I just go slowly. I use a tracker called pacer which measures the runs. Interesting to see. Keep going. See you at graduation 🤗
I’m lucky that’s it’s flat where I live (although there are hills in my local park run so I don’t know how I’ll feel when I try that) I follow pretty much the same run each time as it takes me along a fairly quiet lane. Good luck with Week 6
Well done. Just completed Week 5 Run 3 myself yesterday and also feeling pleased with myself. Glad of the weekend off!
I run in a local park and although there’s an alternative one I have chosen the one that is pretty flat. I’ve really come to love it in this glorious spring weather: it’s full of blossom. On occasions I also see the same people out taking their exercise which is nice.
