I’ve just completed W5R2 (very proud of myself) but why is there such a big jump from 2 x8 minutes runs to a twenty minute run on W5 R3 ? 😫

Firstly - well done on your progress this far!👍🙂

Secondly, trust in the program - it works!

That Week 5 run 2 of two x 8 minute run intervals with that 'brisk walk' of 5mins in the middle (during which you will still have maintained an elevated heart rate) will have prepared you.

Good luck - stay positive and stay safe.🙂🌈

It's not that big a jump - 16 minutes to 20 minutes is only an increase of 4 minutes ☺ and you're ready for it - trust the programme & don't think about it too much ☺

Enjoy your next run 🏃 😊 & come back to tell us how it goes 👍

Me too. I've also just finished w5r2 3 hours ago. I did not stop at all. Dont worry, just like Joanne said, it's not that much from 16 to 20. Good luck.

I’ve literally just done week 5 run 3 today and I was panicking so much before doing it. But honestly I was fine and now don’t even know why I was worried. I was even able to keep going for an extra four minutes at the end!! You can do it 100% :) x
