The First Time!

I am a 72 year old male.

I’ve not run seriously for 60 years.

I was anxious this morning as I put on my newly acquired running shoes!

I did the first session with Michael Johnson and I felt so elated even though it’s only the first time.

I want to know how people felt after their first time and what may lie ahead!

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

What lies ahead is a whole world of running that is welcoming and life affirming.

Enjoy your journey.

Wow respect

We were 63 when we started and it nearly killed us I was puffing like a steam train and Willow was bent double gasping for breath,

a year later Willow can run for about half an hour and I can jog on slowly for an hour or more so it just shows what a great plan it is

Good luck, have fun and post your runs so we can cheer you on
