Hi y’all I’m 55 and I have been walking 2 miles a day for the last month. My feet feel numb after about a mile but when I am done they get better in an hour. Is this common?

Foot pain while walking
What are you wearing on your feet, as it sounds like it could be a lacing problem. What might be happening is that your feet swell as they get warm and your shoes start squeezing them. Then, when you stop exercising, you cool down and your feet return to normal. Loosen you laces and see if this makes a difference.
Yes I think I had this on my last run (numbness, tingling, foot falling asleep?), and relacing more loosely at the front of the shoe did the trick for the next run. But it was strange, as numbness/tingling stopped when I stopped and started when I put pressure on it. Upwards and onwards (and loose laces) 👍🏽
If you Google lacing your trainers you will see all sorts of different ways of doing this to ease the problem
Thanks y’all I will loosen the lacing my feet just fit very snuggly in the shoes.
