So I ran again today and just wasn't feeling it. I spent 4 hours taking out 40 years worth of brambles from a communal garden area yesterday and I didn't fully realise how much I had had to fight them until I woke up stiff and aching this morning. I still did it but didn't finish two runs. I did finish the one up the steep hill but I think that knackered me out for the rest of it. I felt disappointed that I hadn't done as well as I had previously so I am trying to tell myself positives 'i still got out and did it', 'I tried the harder run again, so it was bound to be harder', 'I should be proud that I did it in spite of aches and pains'. I hope that the next time I try it I am fresh and more ready so I can see an improvement and get my running buzz back π€

Yes, Iβve noticed that if I do some physical work a day before my run I donβt perform that well... from my experience the key is to have a day of rest in between. π

This was actually the run I did on Tuesday π I ran this again on Thursday and smashed it!! π And today I did week 3 r 1 and smashed that too and then went on a 5.5m walk with my husband !!!! I am on a role. A bit concerned about how I will feel tomorrow though ππ€£ Thank you so much for your support βΊππ
