🤦‍♀️ I have got to be honest here .... started again last week .... this has got to be the third time I’ve tried couch25k.... got time on my hands this time so less excuse not to get out there! Completed 2 days and actually didn’t think I was gonna die! So good to be part of this community again 😎

What has made you stop before?

"Completed 2 days and actually didn’t think I was gonna die" - that doesnt sound good. What are your physical symptoms at the point you feel you have to give up/stop?

I consider myself fairy fit ... I strength training normally 4 times every week .... cycle most days during lockdown ... but running has never been easy for me .... got new trainers to help ease knee pain and they seem lots better .... I’d like to find grass to run on but I live in countryside so most grassy areas are very undeveloped and I think I’d end up breaking an ankle or something

OK, but has made you give up previously?

Were you out of breath?

Out of breath and it feels like I shuffle and land too heavy if u know what I mean ..... I think I need to get the consistency before the fine tuning?

nope you just need to learn how to 'run'. Have a look at these two videos:

youtube.com/watch?v=9L2b2kh...

and this

(search Youtube: 'Quick steps: running shuffle' if it doesnt play):

youtube.com/watch?v=kQ5wQ5N...

The main point is to go SLOW - really really SLOW.

Good luck!
