Hi everyone ! Just a question it says 3 runs a week and 1 rest day in between but that's more than 3 a week isn't it ? Just finished week 1and I've done 4 🤣 thanks !

Think of C25K in program weeks not calendar weeks. Absolutely take a minimum of 1 day rest after each run. Sometimes I take 2. This will result in 3 or 4 runs/calendar week.

I think the idea is for people to be able to plan when they run, eg Monday Wednesday Friday, every week. So there's room for a little flexibility. I used to run Tuesday, Thursday, then either Saturday or Sunday.

Not sure how advisable it would be for a beginner runner to carry on right through the program running every other day. It might get a bit much by week 5, but I expect somebody will have done it.

I started on a Sunday and finished on a Sunday 8 weeks later, more or less running every other day. As I progressed and was tempted to run 2 days in a row, I went for walks on the in between days instead. It made it easier for me to complete the program this way as every day I had the same routine. I followed the instructions very closely regarding not going too fast but not giving up before my time was up and just had faith that the program would work, which it did!

Me too, I was also wondering about that! I also read on here that it’s harder if you leave 2 days rest ie at the weekend x

Had some good answers there it seems the rest days can be 1 or 2 which people may need as it gets harder and harder which will probably me !!🤣😊😊
