Good morning everyone, it's been ten days since my last post, doesn't time fly, since then I repeated another week two followed by two week three runs and it went well I even got to run in shorts and sports top in the sun now that I have a waist pouch to keep my instructor in, I went out for a walk one day not feeling like running but wearing the shoes, once out I couldn't resist it even without the app to keep me company I managed four decent jogs and the thought that I can run on my own so to speak.
Yesterday I did run one of week four, definitely more challenging!
I can report that warm up and stretch down exercises seem to work well for me, live long and prosper everyone🖖

Good morning. The programme does get more challenging as the weeks go on, but as you work through the programme, you are getting incrementally fitter, so you can do it. It is a very carefully thought-out plan, and increases the challenges in a way that lessens your chance of injury. So, do continue to follow it! Plenty of time for renegade running once you have finished! Well done on reaching week 4 – stay safe and keep running!
Hi sadie thanks for your support, re the renegade runs don't fear they were all similar to the program so far, enjoyable not pushing boundaries with walks between, moving to week four definitely a move up though and I'm definitely staying with the program
Good! And don't worry about the weeks ahead at all. You can do this. I had not run since childhood when I started C25K at the age of 46, and I managed it. It's all about having faith in yourself, and taking it gently. Sounds like you are very much on the right track!
