I have my Week 2 Run 3 tonight and I have never run in the rain before, is it more difficult?

Rain and running

It seems like it is, but I find it’s not.
Once you get out you the first few minutes are a pain, but then you’ll pretty much forget about it and it’s actually quite refreshing.
And it’s so great to come back home, and have a lovely hot shower after having had a nice run in the rain.
And one word of advice , don’t wait for the rain to stop.... it probably won’t anytime soon. ....just go out and enjoy your run 👍🏃♂️🏃♀️

Hi AliceInThePalace ,
I will be honest , I prefer to run in the cooler weather whether it’s raining or not . I get so hot when I’m jog n running and having the rain for me is bliss . I can’t say it’s more difficult for me however , I’m sure it depends on the road , path or grass surface and what kind of shoes you are wearing .
The most important task is to keep safe , the last thing you need is an injury . I also have a Hi Viz very thin sleeveless top I wear if it’s overcast or a little dark outside . Keep safe - keep well 🐾

You can only get wet once.........then you are wet.
No, it’s just wetter

It can be quite exhilarating! How did you find it?
