What tech are you all using. I have a Fitbit Charge2 so know my HR and distance but it doesn't seem to map the run I have done. I'd like something to do that to see the different routes and their distances and also take part in the stava challenges. Any ideas?

I use a Garmin Forerunner which has its own software and GPS (which is the missing bit on your kit, I expect). I don't know anything about Strava so not sure if it would somehow work with that.
I have a Fitbit too, the Charge 3.
As mentioned by Mukkypup, there is no GPS in the Charge 2 or 3.
There is however still the possibility to track your run on a map and see distances etc. etc. , and I have it set up so I can a shout out at every KM to let me know my pace ( or lack of ).
All I do is bring my phone out with me, and hit the start button on the Fitbit app on it when I start running.
I also use the (free) Strava app, and can see run stats on there too. You can link your Fitbit account to Strava if you like, which is what I've done.
The Fitbit app is a little fiddly to start off with.
To start your run on the app, hit the + button on the '3 of 5 days' part.
Then near the top left, select rub and press start.
When you have finished your run, just hit the stop.
I use an iPhone, so that how it works on my phone.
It's probably different and equally fiddly on other phones.
You soon get used to it though, and once you've done it a few times it's easy.
Hope this helps.
Happy running 👍👍
Hi Jacqui , I too have a Fitbit which doesn’t “ map” . I downloaded Nike run club app last week and that is “mapping “. Don’t ask me questions on it i ve just learned to press the button at the start and at the end 🙄.... maybe some one else on this forum can help explain what it s full potential is 🤷♀️. And congratulations on week 9 👍
I take my phone which is fairly good, but as I am already running C25K and Spotify I thought it might be enough. Will give it a go
