I finished week 2 on tuesday but have struggled with lower back pain and knee pain not sure whether to go for wk 3 today or redo run 3 in wk2 any advice after a four day gap?

Think id take it steady and re do W2. Don't run before you can run!

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Runners need good core strength to avoid back pain, so maybe have a look at Strength and Flex.

You are the best judge as to whether you feel up for the next run or feel more comfortable repeating your last run. Do not run through pain though, so if you need to take more rest then do. The following clip on the Japanese Slow Jogging technique is really helpful and designed to reduce impact on your joints so it is worth taking a look:

Thank you delly you are right I decided to go for it last 3 mins was hard but I did the very slow jog it really worked 🙂
