Instead of coming out of the farm gate and turning right towards Helston I've decided to turn left! No biggie you say, and so I thought! Set my alarm for 11 minutes and start to jog down the long slow hill towards Falmouth - not bad I think - then the alarm goes and I've got to start the long slow climb home! I wish it was the other way round! I think we are at the highest point above Falmouth and it is a 6 mile descent to the town. Well at least I've got the weekend exercises: dodging biscuits, avoiding puddings and generally trying to watch what I eat!

Works for me!!! I’ve been looking at something similar here from up on the snake pass I’d have a great downhill for a few miles... only problem with my planning is I’d prefer a refreshing post run drink at the pub at the top, than in town at the bottom.
Probably me too at the moment... still on the comeback trail from my enforced break over the winter. I do like to think ahead though! Anything you think about doing is achievable in time, and it’s fun to tick them off when you get there. I was looking at Glossop to Castleton the other day, not much further than I’ve done in the last year... but a lot of uphill, so a definite challenge for me.
